I am so excited!! I finally took the plunge and had Darcy Baldwin at Sweet Shoppe Designs create me my very own custom handwriting font. I think that it is so cool that I can now journal in my own handwriting and it only cost me a meer $10.

I really recommend this to anyone that does any type of journaling on their pages and would like to personalize it just a bit more. Darcy's store can be found at Sweet Shoppe Designs and she even has a cursive option.

I've been challenged

Yep - two girls have sent me this challenge now so I am following through on it. The challenge is to go into your photo files. Find your 6th file, and the 6th pic in the file...and blog about it.

This picture was taken with my old crappy digital camera but I still love the picture. It was taken in the summer of 2005, Carter was 3 years old and I took him to his first Twins baseball game along with my sister, brother, and sister-in-law. This was the summer that my DH lived apart from us in Oshkosh while I stayed back in Mankato to sell the house and find myself a job. Well, needless to say, my DH wasn't all that happy that I took Carter to his first game. That was something that he wanted to be a part of and was disappointed that he missed out. Ooops!

And while I am blogging today - I have a little sneak peak of a new kit that FruitLoOp Sally will have in her shop at Inspiration Lane on Wednesday (1/28).

FOBTY – 1/22/08 – Cupcakes

Cupcakes. Not so great of a subject when you are trying to lose weight, however, this is the subject of the Sweet Shoppe Designs blog challenge today and I will do *almost* anything for a challenge point.

So, what’s my favorite cupcake? Hmmmm, I don’t make or eat cupcakes all that much. (I know *Gasp* what’s wrong with me?) But if I had to choose, I would probably choose chocolate with chocolate frosting. Not too fancy, but I guess that’s just how I am. Or maybe it’s because I haven’t ventured out in the world of cupcakes enough to know any better.

I have to admit - I don't usually make New Year's resolutions. I used to but found that I never stuck to them. However, there are a couple of things that I would like to work on for the year. I am not classifying them as resolutions but rather thing that I keep in the back of my mind and hope to accomplish. My list this year includes:

-Weight loss
-Improve Photography skills
-Get and stay organized
